Target Insects
Most household ants, fire ants, cockroaches, earwigs, fleas, millipedes, mites, palmetto bugs, silverfish, sowbugs and water bugs are eradicated with these granules. See the label instructions for a complete list of target insects.
How to Use
Apply in a three to 10 foot band of granules near the house foundation. Water lightly immediately after application. For results, leaf litter should be removed from the foundation area and vegetation that touch the foundation should be cut back.
Stop Them Outside
With TERRO Ant Killer Plus, you’ll be able to stop insects outside before they get into your home or business. This treatment should by applied as a perimeter treatment at a rate of 2 lb to 3 lb for every 1,000 sq ft. Application rates are different on ant mounds.
Convenient Shaker Bag
TERRO Ant Killer Plus comes in a resealable shaker bag. To use, open up the seal at the top of the bag, flip it upside-down to grab the handle and then shake out the product through the mesh opening. If you don’t use the entire contents, just reseal it for later.
Control Pests Around Your Home
Controlling Ants
To control ants (except fire ants), apply one to two teaspoons over and around ant hills; water lightly immediately following application. If the soil is dry, water lightly before application to bring the ants closer to the surface for better control. For difficult ant infestations, use both a broadcast and spot treatment.
Controlling Fire Ants
To control fire ants, apply ½ cup of ant killer granules over and around each fire ant mound. Immediately following application, water the product in completely, applying a minimum of one gallon of water to each mound area. For results, apply in cool weather, or in early morning or late evening hours.
Complete Control
This product is ideal as part of a two-step ant control process for residences or businesses. First use TERRO Outdoor Ant Killer and then follow that with TERRO Liquid Ant Baits indoors. This two-step process should eliminate ants inside and prevent outdoor ants from re-infesting your home or business.
